How to Add Labor Coverage

If you’re interested in adding labor protection, we can review the available third-party labor plans with you. We’ll help you understand the differences and select a plan that fits your needs and budget.

    Important Details About Labor

It’s important to understand that the manufacturer does not include labor coverage.

If you wish to add labor protection, there are optional labor-warranty plans available through third-party warranty companies. These plans vary, offering different types of coverage such as:

    • Labor on parts only
    • Labor for compressor + parts
    • Labor on refrigerant
    • Extended or 365-day emergency service coverage

Because these plans are optional and vary widely, labor is not automatically included with your system.

    Why Labor Coverage Is Separate

Worlock does not offer its own in-house labor warranty. This protects the homeowner.

If a contractor ever closes, is sold, or new ownership chooses not to honor past agreements, the customer could be left without coverage. With a third-party labor warranty, your protection stays intact regardless of future business changes.
